Zombie Training Simulator is a really fun first-person shooter for HTC Vive VR headset, in which you need to survive an attack of hoards of zombies. It follows the wave shooter genre, where you need to survive as many waves as you can and kill as many zombies as possible while doing so. You can score for each round and with more zombie kills you can unlock new and better weapons.
The game was developed for the HTC Vive and for room-scale experience using Vive controllers. You need to be agile yet accurate to be able to take those zombies down. What I personally really liked about the Zombie Training Simulator is its graphics. It features vivid cartoonish graphics, but the enemy characters look like 2D cardboard cutouts, which I think makes this game look quite unique in a sense and makes it stand out from the rest. It also feels more fun to smash those zombies and break them to pieces compared to bullet sponge characters.
Of course, because it uses the Vive controllers without auto assist, it poses a bit of a challenge as well. You can also use your weapon to smash your opponent if they come too close and there are also items that you can throw at the zombies as well.. and it's lots of fun doing so.
I also liked the blown-up character animation and sound effects that also contribute to the immersion. It's a really enjoyable experience overall, and if you love FPS games, I think you are going to enjoy it quite a lot.
Keep in mind that Zombie Training Simulator requires a 2m x 1.5m play area and the HTC Vive headset in order to play it.
