Time Carnage is survival first-person shooter VR game. In the game, you play as a trophy hunter. Armed with some devastating weapons, you travel back in time to wreak havoc through post-apocalyptic worlds, deadly jungles, and even medieval ice lands - there are 5 different time periods in total. Those worlds are full of deadly monsters, robots, zombies and prehistoric beasts that will to everything in their power to hunt you down.
As you progress through the game you'll be unlocking more weapons. The game features two modes, a campaign mode and an arcade mode which allows you to expand and upgrade your arsenal. One of the best things about this game is the wide variety of weapons that are available for you as you attempt to finish the available challenges in the game. Some of those guns include a Kalashnikov rifle, a Time Grenade, M4 Carbine, QBU-88 Sniper Rifle, a flamethrower, a 5" Revolver and even a Baseball Bat. I've counted about 25 weapons that the developer mentioned on the Steam page.
The game was designed to give you the full enjoyment of just unleashing everything you've got on the enemies and really feel super powerful when fighting through those dangerous worlds. Some of the enemies are much larger than you are, like the robots, others attack in groups, trying to overwhelm you, like the zombies.
In the official game's website of Wales Interactive, the developer also mentioned that the game features high-quality 3D sound, so the overall shooting experience should be further amplified by a great audio experience.
The game has really very detailed visuals and great use of lighting to create a dramatic and immersive gameplay experience. If you are searching for a great survival shooter with tons of weapons and just endless fun of experimenting with a wide variety of weapons, I think that you definitely need to check this game out.
Time Carnage is coming to Oculus Rift and HTC vive on May 16, 2017. On their website, it says that the game is coming to PlayStation VR as well, but I couldn't find any exact information when it's going to be released. Don't confuse this title with Primal Carnage Extinction, which is a class-based online multiplayer shooter developed by Circle 5 Studios. When I have more information about the PSVR release, I'll update this page with detailed information.
